Wind Ensemble Performance at the Lied Center of Kansas in Lawrence.

We will open a night of awesome band music, sharing the concert with the KU Symphonic Band. (an AMAZING group!)

Schedule and Details:

3:50 PM - meet in Band Room in Concert Black Attire. 4 PM load and depart for Lawrence

by 4:45 PM - arrive McAlister's Deli in Lawrence for Wind Ensemble Dinner

by 5:35 PM: Depart Mcalister's for Lied Center.

Upon arrival at Lied: to dressing rooms, instruments out, individual warm-ups

6 PM: Sound check on Lied Center Stage. By 6:35, done - bathrooms, etc. 6:55 on Stage ready to go.

7 PM - Concert!

We perform first, then will stay to listen to the KU Symphonic Band.

After KUSB, load busses and return to BVN. Estimated return of between 9:30 and 10 PM.

Parents: We need a couple of chaperones. It will be enjoyable and easy! Ride the bus/help take care of students. Dinner provided. Sign up by clicking "View volunteer opportunities" on the BoosterHub Calendar, or just email Mr. Freeman. 

Whether you chaperone or not - please come join us and support your wonderful student musicians!!! It will be a ticketed event, but we will be able to get comp tickets. Keep your eyes open for a ticket sign up a week or so before the event.
