WE NEED CHAPERONES IN THE MORNING/NIGHT TO HELP WITH PACKING UP/UNLOADING TO AND FROM THE EVENT/HELPING DISTRIBUTE LUNCH AFTER PERFORMANCE.

WE ALSO NEED ABOUT 20 VOLUNTEERS TO HELP FROM 9-1030 TO HELP UNLOAD AND GET EQUIPMENT OUT AND READY FOR THE SHOW.

Load equipment and trucks Friday.

Please eat a good breakfast before you arrive and bring a few snacks for yourself along the way!

06:45 AM         Band Room & Uniform Room Opens for uniform dress and equipment loading

07:30 AM        Report to the Band Room for Meeting, in full uniform ready to go

07:40 AM         Load Buses: wearing full uniform with RED band shirt, shoes, and long black socks

Bring shako on bus. Instruments in cases.

Return to buses for meeting and instructions. Get out of uniform - lay uniforms out neatly over bus seats. Watch Bands

Note that finals performance times are done by random draw or prelims placement. We will not know our final time until around 3:00 PM. We will watch other finals bands as time allows and eat dinner (provided by MBB). Following our performance, return to buses for meeting and loading.

IF WE PERFORM BEFORE 9:00PM, WE WILL RETURN TO BVN AFTER OUR PERFORMANCE.

ANTICIPATE ARRIVING AT BVN ~90MINS FOLLOWING OUR PERFORMANCE TIME.

OTHERWISE:  ~10:30 PM - Finals Retreat/Awards (drum major retreat)

~11:00 PM - Load Buses/Depart

~12:00 AM - Approx. Arrival BVN - dismiss after busses clean and equipment put away

Getting to KC Championships Blue Springs South HS Spectator Parking:

Blue Springs South Stadium is located at 1200 SE Adams Dairy Parkway, Blue Springs, MO 64014

Take I-435 East to I-470 East. Then take I-70 East and Exit onto ADAMS DAIRY PKWY and turn RIGHT.

Turn LEFT at the THIRD entrance to Blue Springs South High School into the parking lot.
